Kings Lose Again, 7-3, to Foresters
Adrian Czerwinski, who finished 4th in the CA in strikeouts with 159 in 1953, propelled his team to victory over the Kansas City Kings. The final score was 7-3, Cleveland. The Foresters have an impressive 21-13 record.

Larry McClure was 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI for Cleveland. The 1950 Kellogg Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Tony Britten. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

"Adrian did a good job of managing their lineup," said Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead.
