| Montreal Beats Toronto, 6-2 | The Montreal Saints picked up a win at Stade Montreal, topping the Toronto Wolves, 6-2. On the mound for Montreal was right-hander Don Curtis. He played a principal role in the triumph. With the win, the Saints sit at 40-39.
The Saints got a big at-bat from catcher Whitey Schindler. For the game, Schindler was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Montreal a 3-2 lead.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Montreal skipper Harry Barrell.
