| Robinson Now 5-8 After Beating Minutemen | The New York Gothams got a marvelous performance from pitcher Curtis Robinson. The right-hander kept the Boston offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 3-2 New York victory at Minuteman Stadium. George Libby, credited with the save, is now 5 for 6 in save opportunities. New York is now 36-41, Boston 24-49.
In his 105-pitch effort, Robinson allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8 innings. He walked 3 and struck out 4.
"We think we're a good team overall, so we're not too surprised to win today," said Robinson.
