In a tight tilt between the Atlanta Copperheads and the Boston Minutemen, Jack Kotarski was the difference-maker. The Atlanta right-hander excelled in his team's 3-2 win in 11 innings. Early on, the Copperheads, at 10-4, have excelled.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Atlanta catcher Howard Smith, facing Walt Portelli, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Copperheads the 3-2 win.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Smith.
