| Cougars Handed 7-2 Loss by Dallas | The Dallas Wranglers converted a terrific effort from starter Pete Rosenbaum into a win over the Chicago Cougars at Cougars Park. The Wranglers won the game by a final score of 7-2. Rosenbaum got the win, improving to 9-6. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Dallas sits in third place in the Continental Association West at 43-33.
With Dallas leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, John Vance hit a 2-run single off Chicago pitcher Bob Goldman. It put the Wranglers ahead 5-2.
