| Wolves Top Foresters in Extras, 3-1 | The Toronto Wolves in 11 innings defeated the Cleveland Foresters, 3-1. Starting pitcher Stan Terry was a big part of his team's success. The Wolves improved their record to 32-43 by beating Cleveland.
Toronto used the timely hitting of Pat Schmitt to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Wolves on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"Our team found a way to get it done," said Schmitt.
