| Pioneers Rebuff Keystones, 5-3 | The St. Louis Pioneers picked up a win at Broad Street Park II, downing the Philadelphia Keystones, 5-3. On the mound for St. Louis was left-hander Frenchy Mack, who played a pivotal role in the win. Mack yielded 2 runs over 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5.
