| Swain Slugs 300th Home Run | It's official. Harry Swain of the Montreal Saints hit his 300th home run tonight.
The Montreal Saints took on the Los Angeles Stars and downed them 9-2, but the big story of the night was the milestone home run for Swain. He rounded the bases with a smile and politely stepped on home plate and walked back to the dugout.
"300 is a big number, and I am thankful for the ability to get to this milestone. But it's all about the team today, my accomplishments are just one piece to the Saints puzzle."
The Saints first baseman went 5-for-6 with 1 home run and 4 RBI as the Montreal Saints topped the Los Angeles Stars.
Swain has a lifetime .291 average with 2636 hits, 426 doubles, 38 triples, 300 home runs and 1331 RBIs to date. | |
