| Imperials Knock Off Saints, 5-3 | The New York Imperials defeated the Montreal Saints, 5-3, at Dyckman Stadium. New York right fielder Phil Terry had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Chief Williams picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-5. He struck out 4 in 5 innings. At 40-34, the Imperials are currently second in the Continental Association East.
With New York leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Terry hit a fastball from John Roberts for a 2-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Imperials ahead, 4-1.
