| Cincinnati Decked, 2-1, by Wranglers | The Dallas Wranglers called upon starter Larry Perry, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Cincinnati Cannons, 2-1. Perry got the win, improving to 3-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. Picking up the save was 27-year old right-handed pitcher Asbury Ashmore.
Dallas catcher Roscoe Daniels helped the Wranglers go up, 1-0, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Daniels hit a run-scoring single off Cincinnati pitcher John Walker.
"Larry -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Wranglers manager George Waller. "He was the key to us winning."
