The timely hitting of Roxy Schilling helped the New York Imperials down the Cleveland Foresters, 7-6. Schilling hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Imperials. Eddie Webb came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 3-5. The triumph makes New York 29-61.

Delos Smith was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Imperials shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We got the victory," said Smith. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
