Kleminski Leads Foresters to Win
Wet weather did not postpone the Cleveland-Dallas ballgame.

Cleveland second baseman Stan Kleminski helped his team beat the Dallas Wranglers, 13-5. Kleminski, who led the FA in wins above replacement with 6.5 in 1951, went 3 for 4 for the Foresters. Cleveland, now 14-9, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Cleveland used the hitting of Tom Carr to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Foresters on top, 9-1. For the game, Carr had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Carr. "But I like how we're playing right now."
