| Wolves Saddle Arrows with 5-2 Loss | The umbrellas came out during the Toronto-Milwaukee contest at Lakefront Park.
Toronto pitcher Al Bailey did his part in helping his team beat the Milwaukee Arrows, 5-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Bailey picked up the win for Toronto, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-6.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Phil Story? The Toronto second baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Wolves on top, 1-0. For the game, Story had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"They played a better game than we did," said Milwaukee skipper Randy Hendrix.
Toronto, now 36-38, holds down third place in the Continental Association East. | |
