| Dynamos Drop Another One, 4-2 | Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Philadelphia Keystones got the win.
Philadelphia Keystones starter Jorge Arellano turned in an exceptional performance against the Detroit Dynamos at Thompson Field, resulting in a Philadelphia win, 4-2. The Dynamos fall to 7-9 and continue their sputtering start to the 1974 season.
Bill Viviano, who leads the FA in triples with 2, aided the Philadelphia cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 5.
"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said Arellano.
