| Keystones Deal Clippers 6-1 Loss | The Philadelphia Keystones rode a solid performance from 29-year-old starting pitcher James Powers to a win, beating the Baltimore Clippers, 6-1, at Patapsco Field. The winner was Powers. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Paddy Williamson. Philadelphia is now 36-35, while Baltimore is 39-33.
Phil James helped out the Philadelphia cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the right fielder was 1-3.
