Carr Lifts Foresters to 8-3 Triumph | The Cleveland Foresters defeated the Los Angeles Stars, 8-3, at Bigsby Stadium. Leading the charge for Cleveland was left fielder Tom Carr. He went 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Rufus Barrell II. His record now stands at 5-0. The left-hander went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 14 hits for the Foresters. The win brings the Foresters to 13-9, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
