| Stars Roll Over Foresters, 9-4 | Despite a great performance by Cleveland catcher Hal Kennedy, the Los Angeles Stars defeated the Foresters by the score of 9-4 at Bigsby Stadium. Kennedy went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Stars, now 13-7, have been playing some good baseball.
Jim Berrien came through for Los Angeles with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. The right fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.
