| Down Go Foresters Again, 3-1 | The Montreal Saints picked up a win at Forester Stadium, downing the Cleveland Foresters, 3-1. On the mound for Montreal was right-hander Jose Martinez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Miguel Hernandez closed it out for his 11th save. The Saints sit in last place in the Continental Association East with a record of 29-42.
Martinez contributed in the top of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Montreal get the win.
"Different night, same tune, unfortunately," said losing manager Ray Parsons.
