Baltimore got an elite performance from starting pitcher Johnny Hugot in securing a 5-1 decision over the Houston Comets. Houston now has a record of 9-6.

Hank Butler dealt the Comets a blow in the bottom of the seventh. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Baltimore leading 2-1, Butler, who is tied for 4th in the FA in total bases with 35, hit a 1-1 changeup for a 2-run single.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Butler.
