Chicago pitcher Walt Jackson did his part in helping his team defeat the Houston Comets, 2-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Jackson, now 2-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Picking up the save was John Thomas. He's now 2 for 2 in save chances.
