| Stewart Propels Washington to 4-0 Win | Washington left-hander Jim Stewart pitched his team to victory over the New York Gothams at Columbia Stadium. The final score was 4-0. Doc Lindley was called on to finish, recording his 10th save. The Eagles now own a record of 34-38.
