| Minutemen Hand Baltimore 3-2 Loss | Starting pitcher Johnny Hall was a major factor in the 3-2 Boston Minutemen triumph over the Baltimore Clippers. The Minutemen sport a record of 22-43.
Boston used the timely hitting of Mickey Barker to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Minutemen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"We put together a nice win," Barker said. | |
