Seattle Gets 7-3 Win
The Seattle Kings picked up a win at Bigsby Stadium, downing the Los Angeles Stars, 7-3. On the mound for Seattle was right-hander Charlie Rushing, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Kings now have a mark of 43-28.

Seattle used a clutch hit from Bob Glowacki to snatch the win. The left fielder belted a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Kings ahead, 7-2. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Glowacki told the Seattle News.
