| Wolves Slap 6-3 Loss on Cincinnati | Dominion Stadium was the site for Continental Association action featuring the Cincinnati Cannons and Toronto Wolves.
The Toronto Wolves withstood a fine game by Cincinnati first baseman Mike Rocque at Dominion Stadium, to upend the Cannons, 6-3. Rocque went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Ray Smith recorded the save for Toronto, his 6th of the season.
Sid Cullen was 1-3, while adding 2 RBI for Toronto. The 38-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Herm Quinn. It was his 22nd RBI of the season.
Cullen called the win "an overall solid one."
