Millers Pull Off Thrilling 3-2 Win in Extras
Minneapolis overcame a heroic effort from Joe McCarthy to down Houston, 3-2, in 10 innings. The Houston pitcher threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. With the victory, the Millers record stands at 32-36.

Bill Powell delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Millers. For the game, Powell drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.
