Clippers Pick Up 6-1 Win Against New York
The Baltimore Clippers went home winners at Gotham Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Buck Guthrie. Guthrie stifled the New York Gothams, enabling Baltimore to grab the 6-1 win. New York now is 5-7.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Clay Roberts? The Baltimore second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Clippers on top, 4-0. For the game, Roberts had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It's easier to pitch when you get run support," said Guthrie.
