| Comets Earn 4-2 Win Against Clippers | The Houston Comets topped the Baltimore Clippers, 4-2, in 13 innings at Patapsco Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Houston pitcher Johnny Blackburn. Dutch Lane picked up the save, his 1st. The Comets keep rolling, raising their record to 9-5.
Maury Moore, who is tied for 6th in the FA in triples with 1, had a direct impact on the outcome. Moore contributed a 2-run single in the top of the 13th inning to put Houston up, 4-2.
