The umbrellas came out during the Kansas City-Montreal contest at Stade Montreal.

The Kansas City Kings topped the Montreal Saints, 10-6, in Continental Association action at Stade Montreal. The game was highlighted by the performance of Kansas City third baseman Elmer Grace. Bill Kline, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Grace delivered big-time for Kansas City, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Chuck Droste. The game-changing hit put the Kings on top, 4-3.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Grace.

The win puts Kansas City at 5-3.
