Starting pitcher William Davis gave the Philadelphia Keystones a rock-solid effort. The Rome, New York native helped his team defeat the Boston Minutemen, 3-1, at Broad Street Park II. Philadelphia reliever Don McKeown snagged the win, upping his record to 6-9. Steve Miller shouldered the loss. The triumph puts Philadelphia at 60-40 for the season.

Philadelphia took the lead, 3-1, on Buddy Miller's 25th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Boston pitcher Steve Miller in the bottom of the seventh.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Miller told the Philadelphia Today.
