| Wolves Handle Cincinnati, Snag 7-5 Win | Good production from right fielder Edwin Viramontes helped the Toronto Wolves topple the Cincinnati Cannons, 7-5. Viramontes was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI for the Wolves. Ray Smith picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Charlie Wolf suffered the loss. The current losing streak for Cincinnati has reached 4 games.
Viramontes had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Wolves went on to win.
