Cannons Suffer 4-1 Road Loss | The Cleveland Foresters beat the Cincinnati Cannons, 4-1. Cleveland pitcher and Grand Rapids, Michigan, native Sonny Stoyer led the way. Stoyer got the win, improving to 6-3. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. The Cleveland win streak is now 3 games.
The fans who came to support the Foresters were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Forester Stadium.
