| Sailors Get Past Los Angeles, 3-2 | The San Francisco Sailors, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Golden Gate Stadium.
San Francisco starter Barry Schneider pitched well against the Los Angeles Stars at Golden Gate Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-2, in 10 innings. The win belonged to Eli Kershaw in relief. His record improves to 2-0. John Herzog took the loss for Los Angeles.
The Sailors got a clutch hit from catcher Earl Frazee. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Sailors.
"This game was intense," Frazee said, postgame.
The loss drops Los Angeles to 8-9.
