Foresters Lose to Kings in Walk-Off
Due in large part to right fielder Hank Williams, the Kansas City Kings sunk the Cleveland Foresters, 7-6. Williams went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Kansas City reliever John Jones was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Johnny Ogden. Cleveland is 3-3 after the defeat.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Kansas City. That's when Al Farmer, who finished 5th in the CA in slugging percentage with .512 in 1951, hit a solo home run off Johnny Ogden to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Williams said.
