| Milwaukee Beaten, 4-1, by Chicago | Chicago Cougars starter Bob Goldman found his groove in his team's 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Arrows. The 5th-place Cougars now have a win-loss record of 30-41.
With one out in the top of the eighth, Chuck Ennis had a game-changing hit. The Cougars second baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Jim Hart, making the score 3-1, Chicago.
"It was a solid team effort," said Ennis after the game.
