Eagles 7-3 Winners Versus Chicago
At Whitney Park, the Chicago Chiefs and Washington Eagles were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Paul Barry was a major factor in the 7-3 Washington win over Chicago. The Eagles second baseman went 4 for 4 with 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI. The last-place Eagles go to 32-36.

With Washington leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Barry hit a run-scoring single off Chicago hurler Troy Myers. It was the 10th hit of the season for Barry and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Barry told the Washington Today.
