Kings Earn 9-4 Home Win
Due in large part to third baseman Ken Newman, the Kansas City Kings sunk the Cleveland Foresters, 9-4. Newman went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Kansas City now has a record of 51-49 with the win.

Newman had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Kings went on to win.

"That's what I love about baseball," said Newman. "No matter how good or how bad you did, you get to wake up the next day and start all over."
