| Keystones Win Thriller, 2-1 | The Houston Comets wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter George Roy, falling, 2-1, to the Philadelphia Keystones in 14 innings at Broad Street Park II. Jack Peck, 2-3, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. Their 33-31 record puts the Keystones 4th in the Federal Association East.
The Keystones got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Charlie Taylor. In the bottom of the 14th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Keystones.
"Winning never gets old," said Keystones manager Charlie Leist.
