| Kansas City Defeated By Wranglers, 3-1 | Steve Miller brought his A-game to help Dallas defeat the Kansas City Kings, 3-1. Miller, now 4-10, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. With the win, the Wranglers are 23-56.
The Wranglers got a gift in the bottom of the second inning, when they were leading 1-0. With two out and the bases loaded, Ed Thompson reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Dallas.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Wranglers manager Tom Aiello. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
