The Los Angeles Stars knocked off the Montreal Saints, 8-5, at Stade Montreal. It took 13 innings. Ralph Barrell was a prime reason Los Angeles won. The third baseman went 2 for 6 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Los Angeles pitcher Earl Wright got the win. He's now 1-0. Gene Faulkenberry was tagged with the loss.
