Imperials Top Wolves to Even Record
New York got a first-rate effort from pitcher Howie Weston, who frustrated Toronto hitters en route to a 3-1 Imperials triumph at Dyckman Stadium. The win for the Imperials raised their record to 32-32.

The Imperials benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the first. With Mike Counts at bat and New York leading 1-0, the Toronto miscue allowed New York to plate 2 and take the lead, 3-0.

Counts called the win "a team effort."
