| Late Offense Lifts Los Angeles to 4-2 Victory | Augie Hicks pitched well, but the Boston Minutemen still lost the game, falling, 4-2, to the Los Angeles Suns at Minuteman Stadium. The first-place Suns go to 39-24.
Los Angeles relied on the bat of Sam Forrester to get the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Suns ahead, 3-2. For the game, Forrester had 1 double and 1 triple in 3 at-bats.
"I like the makeup of this team," said Suns manager Jim Coulter.
