| Minutemen Pull Out Late-Game Win, 7-6 | The Boston Minutemen downed the Los Angeles Suns, 7-6, in 11 innings. Walter Huckaby led the way, going 4-for-5 for Boston. Boston reliever Harry Draper picked up the win to move to 3-2. Ben Turnage suffered the loss. The victory gives Boston a record of 35-28.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for Boston. That's when 11-year veteran Hal Mazur hit a run-scoring double off Ben Turnage to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
