Farmer Delivers Walk-Off Win for Kings
Prairie Park was the site of some high drama.

The Kansas City Kings picked up a win at Prairie Park, downing the Cleveland Foresters, 4-3. On the mound for Kansas City was right-hander Allie Boone, who played a pivotal role in the win. Kansas City improves to 49-26 with the win. They lead their division by 3 games.

Al Farmer was the walk-off hero for Kansas City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
