Floundering Millers Lose 7th Straight
Behind a fine performance from Joe Siniscalchi, the Chicago Chiefs knocked off the Minneapolis Millers, 8-7. Siniscalchi was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for the Chiefs. Chicago reliever Joe Campbell picked up the win to move to 2-0. Bobby Crooks suffered the loss. The slumping Millers have lost 7 straight.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Chicago trailing 7-5, Siniscalchi hit a slider from Bobby Crooks for a 3-run home run, giving the Chiefs the walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Siniscalchi said.
