Getting offensive support from Gene Holbrook, the Minneapolis Millers topped the Detroit Dynamos, 8-5. Holbrook went 2-3 with a triple and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Millers. Ben Baird was credited with the save for Minneapolis, his 1st of the season. The defeat makes Detroit 0-2.
