Tierney Collects Hit Number 2000
Lew Tierney reached the 2000-hit mark today. Indianapolis's 34-year-old left fielder received a standing ovation from Indianapolis Red Caps and Milwaukee Cream Caps fans alike. On the day, Tierney went 1-for-4 in the Red Caps 8-6 victory.
