Foresters Mow Down Cannons, 10-4
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cincinnati Cannons and Cleveland Foresters get after it.

The Cleveland Foresters beat the Cincinnati Cannons, 10-4, at Forester Stadium. Paul Williams, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-2 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. Les Hanauer, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 8. His record now stands at 3-0.

The Foresters got a big hit from second baseman Stan Kleminski. Facing Cincinnati pitcher Hal Miller in the bottom of the fifth, Kleminski pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 1st home run of the season put the Foresters ahead, 10-3.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead.

Cleveland, with the win, is 13-6.
