The Dallas Wranglers beat the Seattle Kings, 8-4, at Norris Stadium. Dallas left fielder Ed Norris, who finished 5th in the FA in hits with 177 in 1972, collected 2 singles and 1 double with 1 RBI. Dallas, now 10-6, has played well in the early going.

Tony McKittrick had a big 2-run double for the Wranglers in the bottom of the third inning. With Dallas leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a slider from Charlie Rushing, who finished 3rd in the FA in saves with 15 in 1958, and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wranglers ahead, 4-1.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Norris, "one at-bat at a time."
