The Cleveland Foresters converted a terrific effort from starter Ira Robinson into a win over the Cincinnati Cannons at Forester Stadium. The Foresters won the game by a final score of 6-2. Cleveland is now 12-6.

The Foresters got a gift in the bottom of the second inning, when they were leading 3-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Hal Kennedy reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 4-2, Cleveland.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Cleveland manager Jim Whitehead.
