Minutemen Lose to Keystones, 5-2
The Philadelphia Keystones and Boston Minutemen completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Philadelphia Keystones starter Jim Elliott was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Boston Minutemen, 5-2. Joe Potts, who finished 4th in the FA in innings pitched with 262.0 in 1954, nailed down the save.

The Keystones benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Philadelphia was leading 3-2 when Dick Christian hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Philadelphia in front, 4-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Christian said after the game.

With the win, the Keystones improved to 74-70.
