| Copperheads Losers, 3-2, to Los Angeles | The Los Angeles Suns topped the Atlanta Copperheads, 3-2, in Federal Association action at Wilshire Park. The standout performance belonged to Los Angeles pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Pete Meissner. Meissner got the win, improving to 9-2. He gave up 9 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The loss makes Atlanta 39-22.
Adolph Young chipped in a solo home run for Los Angeles in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.
