Cleveland Beats Kansas City in 10-Inning Thriller
Cleveland turned a fine outing from starter Adrian Czerwinski into a victory over the Kansas City Kings at Forester Stadium. The final score was 3-2 in 10 innings. The first-place Foresters, at 57-34, now lead their division by 2½ games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Cleveland second baseman Stan Kleminski, facing Eddie Webb, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Foresters the 3-2 win.

Said Kleminski: "It's just one win, but it feels like more when you outlast a tough opponent."
