Razor-Sharp Lehman Blanks New York
Sam Lehman of Baltimore easily handled the New York Stars, stopping them on 2 hits and chucking a complete-game 4-0 shutout.

"He really did a job on us," said New York manager Eli Moses. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."

He finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in a solid outing.

This season, Lehman has a 2-3 record with a 4.14 ERA.
