The Los Angeles Suns used the hitting of center fielder Andy Hervey to subdue the Boston Minutemen, 6-5. For the game, Hervey was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win makes Los Angeles 56-80.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Hervey hit a fastball from Ed Morris for a run-scoring double. The Suns, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Hervey said.
