The Milwaukee Arrows went down to defeat to Dave Dalton and his Kansas City teammates. The final score was 3-2, Mavericks, in 15 innings. The win makes Kansas City 21-38.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the 15th for Kansas City. That's when Mel Wingerter hit a run-scoring double off 14-year veteran Earle Turner to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"Dave gave us a huge shot in the arm," said Kansas City manager Sakan Hashizume.
