| Kings Need Extra Frames to Get Past Arrows | The Seattle Kings earned a close win over the Milwaukee Arrows, thanks in part to Bill Harris. The Seattle right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the CA with a 2.28 ERA, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Billy Collins, who leads the CA in saves with 13, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Ben Ginsberg. The Continental Association West-leading Kings have a record of 41-17.
Seattle got a knockout punch from Ben Roberts. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Harris. | |
