| Milwaukee 35-22 After 2-1 Victory | Milwaukee turned a good performance from starting pitcher Joe Wright into a 2-1 triumph over the Kansas City Mavericks at Prairie Park. Wright, now 5-5, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The Arrows now own a record of 35-22.
Milwaukee used a well-timed hit by Jim Stogner to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Arrows ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.
"We found a way to win tonight," Stogner said.
